How villager trading works
Each villager level has a pool of trades, and a villager offers only some of them (usually 2 per level). Trade with the villager to earn XP and unlock the next level. Curing a zombie villager or raising your reputation gives discounts; this list shows the base prices.
Best trades
- Librarian: enchanted books (including Mending) — the price depends on the enchantment.
- Cleric: ender pearls and bottles o' enchanting.
- Farmer and Fisherman: easy emeralds from crops and fish.
- Armorer, Toolsmith, Weaponsmith: enchanted diamond gear at Master level.

Frequently asked questions
Why doesn't my librarian sell Mending?
Each villager picks a few trades from the pool. Break and replace its lectern (before you trade with it) to reroll the offers.
Are these trades up to date?
Yes. They are generated from the official Java 26.3 server's data files, not copied from other sites.
Do Bedrock villagers have the same trades?
Mostly, but some prices and offers differ on Bedrock. This list is for Java Edition.
