Build below Y 40
Dig out the chunk below Y 40 and light up the area around it so other mobs do not take the spawns.
Where do slimes spawn?

Slime chunks are decided by the world seed in Java Edition, which is why this finder needs your seed.
Bedrock slime chunks
In Bedrock Edition, slime chunks are at the same coordinates in every world, so they do not depend on the seed. This finder uses the Java rule — do not use it for Bedrock worlds.

What Y level do slimes spawn at in slime chunks?
Below Y 40.
Why are there no slimes in my slime chunk?
Check that you are below Y 40, that the version and seed match, and that there is room for slimes to spawn. Peaceful difficulty prevents hostile mob spawning.
Does the slime chunk finder work for Bedrock?
No. Bedrock slime chunks use a different rule that does not depend on the seed.
