Minecraft Seed Generator
Click Generate for a random Java seed — or set filters first: choose the biome you want to spawn in and how close the nearest village should be. The generator checks thousands of seeds in your browser and gives you one that matches.
How the generator works
Each click creates random 64-bit seeds and runs our world-generation engine on them: it finds the spawn point, reads its biome and, if you asked for one, searches for a village near spawn. The first seed that passes your filters is shown with its spawn and village coordinates.
Results are predictions from world generation for the Java version you picked. Open the seed on the seed map to explore it, and check it in a test world before starting a long survival game.
Tips for good seeds
- Rare spawn biomes (for example mushroom fields) can take several tries — press Generate again.
- A village within 150–300 blocks of spawn is a strong start for survival.
- Use the spawn finder afterwards to see every structure near spawn.
Frequently asked questions
Are these seeds tested in-game?
No. They are predictions from our engine. Check them in a test world first. Our curated seed list only includes seeds that were checked in-game.
Can I use a generated seed on Bedrock?
The terrain and biomes match on current versions, but villages and other structures will be in different places on Bedrock.
Why did it not find a seed?
Each click has a short time limit. Strict filters (a rare biome plus a very close village) can need many tries — press Generate again or loosen a filter.
