How to use the seed map
Get your seed
Java: type /seed in chat (works in singleplayer even with cheats off). Bedrock: open the world's Edit screen.
Pick edition and version
Choose Java or Bedrock and the version your world was created in. Different versions can generate different worlds.
Toggle layers
Show only what you need. Some small structures appear when you zoom in.
Copy coordinates
Click a marker for its X and Z, the distance from spawn and a /tp command. Mark places as visited.

Positions come from the world-generation rules of the game, reproduced by the open-source cubiomes library. They are predictions: in rare cases terrain stops a structure from generating. Before a long trip, confirm with /locate structure minecraft:<name> in a test world.
Java vs Bedrock
On current versions the same seed gives the same terrain and biomes on Java and Bedrock, but structures are placed differently. That is why Bedrock mode on this map shows biomes only (Verified). For structures, use Java mode. Read more in Java vs Bedrock seeds.

Java Edition: 26.3, 26.2, 26.1, 1.21.11, 1.21.9 – 1.21.10, 1.21.6 – 1.21.8, 1.21.5, 1.21.4, 1.21.2 – 1.21.3, 1.21 – 1.21.1, 1.20 – 1.20.6, 1.19.3 – 1.19.4, 1.19 – 1.19.2, 1.18 – 1.18.2. Every version is labelled Verified: we checked each one against the official game server (see our editorial policy). Bedrock Edition: biome map only (no structures), also Verified against the official Bedrock server.
Frequently asked questions
Is the seed map free?
Yes. The map and all finders are free to use, with no account.
How accurate is the seed map?
For Java 26.3 we compared the map with the official game server in 10 test worlds: the spawn matched every time and 99% of 1,007 structure checks matched /locate. Every Java version from 1.18 to 26.3 passed the same test; the Bedrock biome map is Verified too (98.3% of 600 test points matched on the official Bedrock server). Is my seed uploaded anywhere?
No. The map is generated by code that runs in your browser, so your seed and coordinates stay on your device.
Can I use a text seed?
Yes. The game turns text seeds into a number with Java's hashCode() method, and the map does the same — you will see the number it used.
Why does a structure on the map not exist in my world?
Structure positions are predictions from world generation. Terrain can occasionally block a structure, and worlds made in a different version generate differently. Check that the version matches, then confirm with /locate.
Does it work on servers and Realms?
Yes, if you know the world's seed and version. Many servers hide the seed, and some use custom world generation that no seed map can predict.
Why are structures missing in Bedrock mode?
Bedrock places structures differently from Java even with the same seed. Our Bedrock mode shows biomes only until Bedrock structure support is built and tested.
